My Story
Hello & thanks for stopping by my page! Let me tell you about myself and why I decided to join. My name is April and I am a wife and a mommy to two amazing kiddos! I have used & LOVED Scentsy's products for years for their quality & safety (no flame!) but my true journey with this company began two years ago when a friend had posted on FaceBook about a special on bars she was having. I thought to myself, do I buy the bundle of bars or do I take the leap and join?? Why not earn a little extra cash by sharing a product that I already use and love!
So, I spent the $99 and started selling to family and friends and was having fun doing it...this product really does sell itself! I had never put much thought into growing my team or taking any further than that. It was more like a hobby to me at the time. 6 months later, my mom died. My whole world was turned upside down. My mother had been the center of our family and then one day she was just...gone. I started to reevaluate every aspect of my life. What am I doing with myself?? Working every weekend and holidays, carting my kids off to a baby sitter's all of summer break because I had to work...I am missing too much time with them!! Life is too short! I started seeing my little Scentsy "hobby" for what it truly was...an opportunity to change my life. Today, I take my Scentsy business much more seriously and am currently working toward building a team. This business is so much more than wax & warmers. It's about forming relationships, personal growth, empowerment and giving back more than what you take from this world.
